What counts as an RFID read?
Every unique tag detection event from a fixed portal or handheld scanner counts as one read. Duplicate reads from the same tag within a configurable deduplication window are collapsed automatically.
Can I switch tiers as my operation scales?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at the start of any billing cycle. Overage charges apply at $25 per additional 1M reads if you exceed your tier’s included volume before upgrading.
Do I need to replace my existing WMS or ERP?
No. RFID LedgerOps overlays your current system of record. It connects via REST or webhooks and keeps your WMS/ERP as the source of truth. One connector is included with every plan.
What’s the difference between quick-start and standard implementation?
Quick-start ($750) is a remote onboarding using standard templates with limited mapping and best-practice rules. Standard implementation ($2,500) includes full read-point mapping, custom rule tuning, connector setup, and guided go-live support. You can start with quick-start and upgrade to standard anytime.
Is there a contract commitment?
Launch and Prove plans are month-to-month. Run and above typically start with an annual agreement, though we offer quarterly options during the evaluation phase.
Are there limits on tracked SKUs?
SKU tracking is included on a fair-use basis across all plans. Limits are only reviewed for extreme volumes that materially impact cost-to-serve, and any limits are set transparently in your contract.
How is data security handled?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Secure Enterprise plans include SSO/SAML, a dedicated environment, and SOC 2 Type II compliance documentation.
